IJademan, if Stush and Tiffany agree on this, I'd go with their advice. I'm an entrenched proponent of well draining, non-peaty soils for potted plants. I don't do tropicals or bog plants, but otherwise have rarely met a potted plant that didn't benefit from better drainage.
