Jim - Mount Pleasant is Chad Harris. His iris are wonderful. He is a great hybridizer. Aitken's Salmon Creek and Cascadia are also in that same region of Washington and Aitkens carries many of Chad's iris, as well as their own. Ensata Gardens in Michigan has nice JI's and Greywood has nice ones too.

As for those Breck's dinnerplate iris. Those are not iris hybridized by Breck's, nor are the names they gave them the names the real hybridizers registered them under. One of them is actually Chad's Blushing Snowmaiden, and he was not the one who supplied it to Breck's (yes, I emailed him about it). Others are other hybridizer's better known JI's. I am just so irked that Breck's has renamed them so there are iris being sold under a made up names and not their registered names. A slight to the hybridizers who worked hard to create those blooms in the first place.
