Red eye with red edge are not easy to come by. Here in USDA Zone 7a/b the Winters are just hard enough to wipe out many of the good ones. I keep getting/trying them because I really like them---especially the ones with a near white background color.

Out of this bunch, Apple Of My Eye, Calling All Angels, Soho Style, and Merry Moppet are no longer here. Aragon, Pat Garrity, and Sir Francis Drake do not like to frezze---especially after growth is well underway in the Spring. The more tender ones I grow up next to the back of my house---covered when hard freeze is forecasted. The heat from the house is enough to see them through without too much damage.
