My experience is the same as @ mantisOH. This would most likely be the reason for the lack of registered offsprings. Mine is short with a few blooms each year. It has been here at least six years with minimal increase. Beautiful flower when in bloom. Most likely would do better in the warmer zone as seen from the database pictures and locations.
