LOL! You guys! Baboon bottom, trumped and cow patty were ones that I was thinking of too - and all are nice looking iris.
I'm also really annoyed by names Skirt Alert and Girls Gone Wild. Cheetah Cheese makes me nauseous.
The names I like best are ones that describe the appearance of the flower, or the emotional experience of the flower:
Wintry Sky looks like a wintry sky
Dark Universe looks like some amazing nebula
Volcanic Glow - check
Magical - well, yeah
Sharp Dressed Man - everybody's crazy bout...yup, they are
Brass Lamp - great description
Elizabethan Age - I see palaces and jewels and I hear the lutes
