I agree with this. I do not understand why some hybridizers would choose these ugly, insulting and sometimes evil names. After years of work to see a new iris why do they ruin the effort? I won't buy anything with the name of satan, I don't want to have a flower that I am afraid of being asked about its name...
Imagine your neighbor asking you the name of these beautiful irises and having to say oh these are just Horny Lorri, Street Walker, lascivious dreams and Fire in the hole...


If I get Horny Lorri probably will keep her in the back yard! haha
