I just ordered and planted some Lily of the Valley. During shipment, they had already started to sprout, but it's very yellow and sometimes curved down or twisted because of how they were packed. I planted within 2 days of getting them, but wondering if I should cut off the yellow growth.

I swear I read about this the other day that yes, you should cut off any yellow new growth from shipping and it'll be quickly replaced with normal green growth. But I can't find the info now to confirm. So, cut the yellow unopened growth off? Or leave it and they'll straighten out and green up?
