I had Texas Blue Eyes in my garden between 2011 and 2016, then donated it to the club sale. It is a nice plant and has some nice looking kids, but it was only 20 inches tall and bloomed just barely above the foliage. I prefer the blooms to be at least a few inches above the foliage. Sometimes that pencil edge around the eye really stands out and makes it looks very dramatic. I didn't take note of bud count and branching at the time.

From the pictures I have, it seemed to increase at a decent rate. If only looking at the bloom, I would fall in love with it all over again. Just wish the scapes were a little taller.
