I know patterns are all the rage and those two are certainly striking! But! The one that's stuck in my brain is the rich coral-rose out of Flamingo Kid. At 8" it must be commanding attention. The narrow "v" watermark adds interest. Love it!

I like the round lightly ruffled well-formed pastel too. And 7" is impressive!!

I hope they all have 6 branches and 42 buds! 😀

Pat - I remember you liking the Flamingo Dancer kid last year too. When temps are cooler, the color is very rich. It's less vibrant in my usual 90+ degree heat. Last year it had 16 buds on three-way branching. I can't tell how many buds it will have this year. Generally bud counts here are low on the earlies because of the lack of May rain. I like the pastel one too. It's covered up in the seedling bed and doesn't get enough light. So, although it only has a bud count of 10-11, I think it would be much higher planted in better space.

I actually do have a seedling with six-way branching and 41 buds, but hardly anyone oohs and aahs over it but me. It's a cream yellow with a green sheen in the mornings.
