Ginger Swallowtail is a nice cultivar which I love because of the unique coloring. I'm certain my BC is not up where the registered numbers are, but the blooms that it does put on are ones to remember. It also held up throughout a 70mph wind storm we had last week. Many of the flowers since on other cultivars have had splits in the petals...but this one did not have that issue due to the extreme winds. The unique color and bold pattern are what has attracted me to this cultivar, and even though a bud count of 30 seems a big stretch in my garden, she is a keeper and performs well in zone 6b.
