Well I ordered lots of new irises. Which means I need more space for them to grow so i built 2 flower boxes out of wood I already had and raised some beds in the yard.
Recieved my irises from Shreiner's today and put them in pots as I'm worried about them not making it in the AZ heat. This order came very early they usually come late September.. This way I can put them in the shade to keep them cooler is my hope. I have an order coming from American Meadows, High Country Gardens, and Suttons still.. With the many trades and rescues I did this year I'm probably looking at over 200 rhizomes.. My mother will be getting lots of what I had to thin out of my clusters and alot of those I rescued from being dug up and dumped. She has a much bigger yard than I do. Like an acre.
