I just read an interview with Dan Hinkley in the July/August 2022 issue of Horticulture magazine. He talks about Heronswood and how it came about. Sounds like he and his spouse live near Heronwood in a new place they've built. There's a book out that he wrote about building their current garden, Windcliff: A Story of People, Plants, and Gardens.
