After dealing with hurricanes since 1970 on gulf coast Texas and now in Florida, I can tell you that the trackers are a nice thing but you can't really tell if you are going to get hit until like the day before. I've been directly hit by hurricane Celia (cat 4, later downgraded to strong cat 3) in Texas in 1970, hurricane Alicia, cat 3 on Galveston island in 1983, back to back within 2 weeks of each other Frances and Jean here in Florida in 2004, and cat 1 Irma most recently. Irma caused widespread destruction and flooding here, and put 2 trees on my house. So saying it's just a cat 1 is a mistake.

I have all my stuff packed into the greenhouse early this week in case Ian does come here. Some hanging trays of anthurium seedlings that are approaching a year old. When I say packed, I mean packed lol
