Thank You. I guess everybody calls it Christmas Cactus..kind of like generic name. Have no idea what season it blooms..I remember it blooming for my former neighbor but don't recall when. Her son would know but he is out of the country and I can find out at end of month. He told the renter his Mother always put it outside in June but kept it under the eaves of the house.
How do I take a cutting from it to start a plant for myself? I tried it once in water when the former neighbor was alive but it was not successful. I'd like to try starting a cutting in potting mix this time. Do I use potting mix or cactus mix?
