I think that's a pine grosbeak! I'm very jealous. I've never seen one before.

For sharing bird photos and sightings, I recommend posting to the 2022 bird photos and chat thread linked below. More people will get to see it there. On this forum it seems like that's what most people do and they only start a whole new thread to discuss a specific topic in more detail. There are a few subject specific (birds, butterflies, bees and other insects) threads started at the beginning of each year just for sharing photos and casually chatting about them. That's why you see those threads with thousands of posts and others with next to none. It's just a different way of doing it than some other forums, and takes some getting used to.
