Wrong therad (as you said), but........

First photo, just cut off the dead. It looks like the center growth point is fine.
Second photo, the leaves are dead all the way to the center. cut into one of the stems at the top, is it mushy or green? Green/red/not-mushy -> Ok, should grow back. Mushy/brown/yellowish-clear -> Cold damaged, you can cut back until you see healthy tissue.
