I planted 5 romance foxtail lilies in the fall, purchased from Brent and Becky's. I went outside today and 3 are coming up. The 2 that didn't come up- crown completely rotted. The roots are barely healed together by the rotted crown. The roots have the small fibrous roots on them. My question is, what will happen with these roots. Will they eventually rot away or can they form a new crown? Any commentary is welcome.
