Yes, click on that pen and it will open a Note area, up to 255 characters, and the note then appears in the right side column.
Edit just to add that the bookmarks will then be saved in alpha order for the notes. If any are more important that you use often and don't want to hunt through, start the note with a 0 or 1 to force them to be placed first.
