I love this! Easy, great, and good looking! BUT...

Recently, a fellow member suggested spreading blood meal around the base of the seedling or plant. This not only repels rabbits, but it also feeds the plants. I did it this year for the first time with outstanding success. I know the rabbits are coming by and looking for food because their droppings are near the little plants, but they haven't touched a single one. This after season after season of frustration as they not only eat, but sometimes even kill my beloved plants as they reach for the first sun of the season. Probably a bit more expensive than your solution, but also less work and more nourishment for the plants.
You don't kick walls down, you pull the nails out and let them fall.
AKA Joey.
