Most of us spray a little water on the plant... the aphids get washed off.

Going nuclear... seems like a bad idea in every way that I can think of...

if you put that plant outside after using systemics... any good bugs that show up to eat the aphids will be harmed, and any bees or butterflies that show up for the flowers will also be harmed... worse... those systemics will continue to cause harm for years...
