There's some confusion here. On Northland's website, they say the rose is a climber and "was named after a painting by the same name by one of our customers."

'The Impressionist' was bred by John Clements, who never called the rose 'Flaming June' and is unlikely to have been a Roseland customer because he had a nursery of his own.

Furthermore, Northland's photos of this rose were uploaded to the HMF entry for Anna Hudig (aka Flaming June), a short polyantha with clustered blooms bred in 1931 in the UK. It's doubtful that the breeder was a Northland Rosarium customer.
