Not sure what I would do, it would depend on how many you have. If there weren't a lot, I'd give them away and buy new ones next spring. Or you might start them in planters and plant when you get to NC. At best, they would be late blooming or maybe not bloom at all this year. But they'd likely make some new tubers by digging time this fall.
