I have some root pics somewhere. I inherited MIL's ponytail palm in glued rocks. I had to break the pot to get it out and took pics . It's gone on to have a nice life here!

A few years ago I got smitten by my Phalaenopsis roots, when they're nice and healthy and filling the pot.
Plant it and they will come.
