Thanks Bob. Yes I have all the ones from Primrose. I was not aware of the Thierry Delabroye grower I will look for the ones they have developed.
When I started losing them I started doing more research. I have been buying the villosa and I finally found a spot that they love. I I have what was once a gravel area that had not been gardened for years at my new house. But the soil (totally leaf mold compost) had covered the gravel from the surrounding trees. So the soil is super rich and the gravel gives it the drainage. I do not get any winter heaving.
