It's not clear from the label what the relationship is. I don't think CactusCollection.com is incorrect ... but if you feed that URL into your browser, it redirects to the site for Altman Plants. That website gives some background

Ken and Deena Altman, the owners of the company, started out selling succulents by mail order about 50 years ago and built up a massive business serving big box stores across the US. Altman Plants currently employs Kelly Griffin (as far as I know), the hybridizer of the aloe you previously mentioned, though he actually bred it while working at his previous employer, Rancho Soledad Nurseries (another company based in the north county San Diego area, started in 1954).

Some corporate and personal lore behind the company that brings you these lovely little aloes (and the occasional mislabeling). Smiling
