Those must be an Asian variety, really interesting. I've never seen one like that down here. We do have ones with a deep purple flesh most often seen in Central America and the white fleshed ones grown here in southern Mexico. Ours are in season now, I'm eating several a day. I'd love this time of year for the fruit salads alone!
