@Planters543 Looks like sunburn (photo-oxidation). Was it left in bright sun for more than a few minutes? Is all the damage on the foliage facing one direction? What did you eventually settle on as a grow medium? Does the pot have a drain hole?

Mushrooms are no big deal - they simply show that the fungi at work liked the grow medium well enough to fruit. How was the soil contaminated?

Did you fertilize or supply anything other than water to the plant?
