I think Lacewings eggs too. I haven't seen aphids and lacewings lately on my desert roses, maybe there is such a thing as too hot and humid for the aphids Hilarious! I was out this morning at my backporch that gets the morning sun and not even 9 am and I was dripping wet! It is like a sauna!

Phil! They do look like rose thorns! I hope they are friends and not foes!
