I have propagated a lot of AV leaves over the years, and really can't say there is a better time of the year. If I break off a leaf of a nice plant and want another, I stick it in a container of water, and usually about a month or so later I have roots and little leaves large enough to pot up. I have made as many as three new plants off some leaves
