There are two Stapelias (both now Ceropegia) in the ballpark, but they can be easily resolved by the flower. A mostly yellow flower is gigantea, a red one is grandiflora.




I have read that these plants tend to drop their buds if they are moved (somehow this is related to how light hits the plant) but I have not ever tested that, and it could be an urban rumor.
