In Joanna's case- she's done a garden tour and now has new photos to share. I'm not sure a whole new article is a good idea.

Also, while we were never able to get folks to post to the forum, there are a *lot* of "tour" posts throughout the site in various forums. Moderators could move them.

We can't really move them, Trish. We can only split them off to new threads within our own forum. We'd have to email you or Dave to suggest you move it. And, if someone didn't post those pics in the appropriate forum to begin with, they apparently don't want them in the appropriate forum.

What we need to do is think of ATP as our garden community, where we visit different areas. We need to be willing to walk around the neighborhood.
e.g. I grow mostly flowers. They only vegetable I generally grow is tomatoes. I spend most of my time here in the areas that interest me most, like seeds, coleus, perennials, annuals. I rarely post to or even follow the vegetable forum. But when I decided to plant asparagus this year, I asked questions in the vegetable forum and found the answers I needed. I walked to another area of this garden community. I can't understand why people are so reluctant to leave a certain forum or two. Nor can I understand the reluctance to start a new thread for a new subject.

Consider this example. I went to the main "forums" page and searched "tomatoes". This is the result: 24 pages of hits on every conceivable forum:
http://garden.org/forums/searc...
Granted, tomato reference can be appropriate to lots of different fourms: seeds, edibles and preserving, farming, etc. But daylilies? irises? roses? And if I click on those posts, I might have to read through 20 pages of posts on dalilies, which don't interest me, or irises which don't interest me, etc. to find a reference to tomato.

We just need to post pictures and comments to appropriate forums. I know I'm on my soapbox again but I think these things are just so counterproductive to the usefulness of this site.
