Hello

I planted a new crop of strawberry plants at the start of the year and, now that the summer is over, i'm wondering if i should be trimming away the stems and leaves. I have a lot of very healthy stems and leaves growing from the plants, but i don't expect that these will be producing any more fruit this year. Should i leave these in place for next year, or trim them? If i need to trim them then how much by - should i take everything right back to the crown, or just thin things out a bit?

Kind regards

Lee
