Welcome to the site!
Thanksgiving cactus is actually an epiphyte that grows naturally from trees and branches in tropical/subtropical environments, native to Brazil.
Indirect light (I use my east windows)
They like to be moist but not waterlogged ( I just water once per week)
Would not think of repotting until you see how the plant is doing. Beautiful plant, enjoy it!
