I have rooted some shrub cuttings in small rock wool blocks but am not sure how to transplant them to soil. Do I plant the whole block into soil? It seems that the high saturation of the wool block might cause the roots to rot in the soil. Taking the cuttings and starting them in the rock wool was pretty much an experiment because I've never used this product and don't really understand it, but I was curious. But now I've got some nice shrub starts and would like to make sure they thrive.
All the videos I've seen online just show the small wool blocks being transplanted into bigger wool blocks, not into soil.
FYI...I moved this question from the All Things Gardening forum
