Hello lovely people of Garden.org! I'm in need of some dire assistance. I'm attempting to salvage my partners beloved Pachira aquatica (or Pachira glabra, I can't be too sure). She used to be a huge tree about 6 foot high with 3 twisted vines and now sadly she's reduced to this (see pictures) after the last remaining part of her was hacked off to avoid root rot. I'm a complete novice gardener and have semi-success with indoor plants. Anybody know what my next move should be? I've never made a cutting before and have seen this could be a route to a complete regrow.
