All done! This will be the last time I do this project. It was worth it, I think--we garnered a lot of new reviews in some of these older threads.

Like last year, I learned a lot (and added several plants to my want list!). I scrolled through each of the threads. I found that lots had a bunch of comments but only one or two actual reviews. Several produced interesting discussions on side issues like planting seeds, visits to nationals, etc. A few had double DotD threads, and I tried to link them together when that had not already been done.

There were also a few that have been confused for other cultivars or that have multiple threads under different names. "Razzmatazz" and "Purple de Oro" apparently have been incorrectly identified as the same cultivar, and one commonly called "Lady Elizabeth" is actually "Robbobeli"; "Lady Elizabeth" is another cultivar altogether. The same seems to be true of "Frankly Scarlet." We also have DotD threads for both "Ury Winniford" and "Siloam Ury Winniford"--they aren't the same plant, but the pictures and comments for Ury Winniford seem to belong with the other one.

Several members wrote some really informative posts giving background on the cultivars and their hybridizers, and I link some of those here for those who are interested:

The thread "Daylily of the Day: Sears Tower" in Plants of the Day forum
The thread "Daylily of the Day: Osterized" in Plants of the Day forum

I know there were others, but I can't remember which ones they were. If I do, I will add more links. They were well worth reading even if you aren't considering the plant in question.

I also want to thank everyone who took the time to add reviews, especially those who included lots of details about plant habit, fertility, branching, etc.--not to mention all the wonderful pictures!
