I am so happy when I can give an unequivocal thumbs up to a plant…this one really deserves it!

I received 4 fans of Rich in Mercy from Laura ( TwixnDud) in October of 2021. It bloomed the following year from July 11-August 8 with 15 flowers counted. I'm sure I missed some while I was away. Then it rebloomed from October 12- November 17th with 10 more flowers. RIM was my final flower in 2022. It ended the season with 7 fans.

This year, RIM bloomed from July 14- August 20 with at least 45 blooms. There was no rebloom this year but it put on another fan to end with 8.

This flower is not only a strong grower and bloomer, but the flowers themselves are beautiful. A vibrant violet with a lavender watermark and sparkly white picotee edge surround the green throat. It looks like a flower that would only pop out a few but then surprises you with cascades of them.

I'd say this is probably the most successful Emmerich plant in my garden so far.
