I got Salieri from a lovely lady who I befriended after stopping at her house after work one day in 2009 where she had a sign "daylilies for sale". What hemaholic can pass that up! Sadly, Lois is no longer with us, but in 2013, she and her husband stopped by to drop off a daylily she had bought for me from Lowe's. That daylily was Salieri.
I got rid of Salieri in 2020 due to downsizing, but have some pictures of it to share. It grew under my Eastern redbud tree, so there were some roots to contend with. But it multiplied well and for a darker daylily, it was fairly splotch-free. I think it benefited from the shade because it stayed dark for a good portion of the day. It wasn't a bad daylily, I am just not partial to most of the very dark daylilies.
I don't have a record of bud count or branching, but I don't think it was more than 3-way branching. I never had rust on it that I can recall.
