Hi, I'd like some help identifying one of the plants I'm watering for my uncle while he's out of the country. I don't think he knows what it is, either...I believe it was given to him as a gift and he's just been caring for it ever since. I don't know the first thing about plants myself, but if I at least know the name of this one then I can research how to care for it. I tried looking it up on an app, which told me it was a Chinese evergreen based on the leaves, but it's far sparser and taller than any of the pictures I've seen online so I'm really not sure if that's what it is.
I'm concerned because the leaves have started to yellow and I'm debating whether I should take it inside. On one hand, the hallway it's in now is very cold, but on the other the apartment doesn't have as much light. If anyone has any advice regarding that, as well, I'd appreciate it! And if not, just having a name will be a big help for me. :)
