Consider trying some of each in small pots and carefully observe and take pics of the baby plants so you can recognize them in the garden.
Happens a lot that one digs up a new garden spr, throws in seed, and then existing weedy seeds grow and you don't know what is what. However, weeds come up everywhere and your chosen seeds will usually look different in fine details and will Only be where you planted.
Plant it and they will come.
