Hi fellow plant loves! im not able to find any info online about if my beaucarnea recurvata is ever too far gone? Im seeing tons about how to revive it. whether it was rotted due to over or under watering or a fungus etc.. However, this one is completely bald, and stem feels empty, the bark is peeling and underneath its foamy and slimy..

I have removed all dead stems and it seemed very dehydrated, so i let sit in water basin for about a hr to rehydrate and then repotted in dry well draining soil and planter. I have her sitting in sun room with the rest of her plant sisters hoping she will get some life back.

Is she too far gone? i cant find any articles on not being able to bring your ponytail palm back to life, only ways on how too.. but the stem is almost foam like with yellow inside stem and dry roots and soil. Any thoughts? advice? thank you!
