I have been fighting this for a few years: bunnies trying to create a den for babies in my large containers. I wake up in the morning to find soil scattered everywhere and sometimes the den extends under the roots of a new planted plant. Fortunately only twice did we not catch it in time and there were babies. We left them alone but couldn't water the plants enough so they suffered. We let them dig in the yard and always find a few dens though the spring/ summer. Anyone have a solution? I've thought about anchoring plastic screen but it is hard to fit around the plants and I don't like how it looks. Has anyone tried plastic screens made for containers to keep kitties/ babies from digging indoor containers?
