I made an architectural change to the database this morning, to add Series as a part of a plant's name.

Also, I re-worked the "Add a plant" form.

Now, when you add (or edit) a plant, you can enter the trade name and the series name. Taken together, these two names are then combined by the system to give a display name. Also, you can then later search by series name.

As a test, I added 5 plants in the Flutterby Grande series:

Click on each one to see the fields.

I have a feeling that this might go a long way to fixing the strange trade names out there, especially in the case of these groups of plants. Check it out and see what you think.
