Ah yes, I have the first photo of my other tillandsia bulbosa already in the database..though sad to say that one perished in the heat..that's why I shied away from it for awhile, and then just decided to get this new t. bulbosa after seeing it in a flower market.
Kristi, yup those are roots, but roots for a tillandsia are just for anchoring, I had to trim some of it to get a better fit inside the glass.
This time around, I plan to do a once a week water dunking on these new ones, since they will be indoors. The plants are just resting on top of the rocks, so easy enough to drop in a basin of water
