I haven't found any red salvias that are hardy to zone 5. Supposedly Wild Thing is, but it dies every year. Only ones I've found to be hardy for me are Purple Rain, May Night, Pink Sensation Rose, and a white (can't remember the name). I have a few others (Blue Hills) that I'm waiting to see if they come back this year (planted last year). But all the other cool non-fuzzy salvias (Wild Thing, most of the greggii family, Hot Lips) they're always annuals for me. Glare
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...
