I got some huuuuuuuuge plants in last Spring. I got in some "regular" size fans also. After a year in my 7 gallon pots, they are basically the same size. THe main difference is, some of the huge fans divided into 2 or 3 fans last year, not all of them. None of the smaller fans divided like this or even mutiplied. I think they will this year. I live in a zone 7b so my plants don't have any extended cold weather but we always do have a few below 20 days but it warms back up during the day.

I have no problem with the size of a plant as long as it's healthy. The foliage can be basically dead but it will come back out in short time. I bought a couple of plants on Ebay one year from an unknown. I got pencil size fans, that had maybe one green leaf and basically no roots. SO, needless to say, I stick with the LIly Auction now. Great folks, really great.
