I think one of the reasons those dont look good, is they left so much of the leaves on, that is going to die back anyway. Were they advertised as SF's? Needless to say, they are smaller than some of the main sellers, but it looks like they trimmed the roots, as do I. I bet, and hope they do well for you. The first daylilies I ever had were the ones you buy in bags and are just dried up roots. Darned if they didnt get me hooked they did so well. Hope these flourish. I hope your pleased with ones still to come. Nothing worse than getting excited and then being let down.
Were those northern grown??
