bearsearch said:This was my first and probably last time I'll buy from the LA. I have to say that there really are some good honest vendors there but there are also the other kind that have completely soured my experience. I bought a fair bit of seeds and was VERY pleased with what I received from certain people but other vendors: a) didn't send some of the seeds I paid for and got angry at me for even suggesting that they may have made a mistake b) sent me seeds that were obviously dried husks and disintegrated in the package c) completely rotten d) the vender can't count (paid for 10 seeds and got 4). I have only received one of the plant shipments so far and can only comment on that one but the picture below says it all. These were soaked for 4 days because they were so dried and shrivelled up. It will take a few years in my zone for these to recover and start to grow well. I had also asked for the plants to be shipped late April / early May as it's too cold and wet to plant here earlier and these were received the first week of April. I had to pot them and since I don't have a greenhouse they are being starved for light till I can get them outside. I can only hope the other plants I bought are better.
