It's sad when we lose buyers because someone doesn't take a few moments to send out emails on shipment. I think the daylilies will grow out just fine, but the seed deal, that is really BAD! No excuse to send out bad seeds. I've bought alot and never had any problem to speak of. I sometimes do get a few bad ones, but most sellers will include extras to cover up for this loss. There is no excuse not to send the quanity of seeds solds, unless some were bad in the pack when they got ready to mail them. In this case, I would have contacted the buyer with the offer of a refund or substitute. I guess I'm a nut about seeds, but I check mine so many time prior to shipment for bad seed, I can't stand the thought fo shipping bad seed. No one can say for sure that they won't send out a few bad ones, but they shouldn't be many.

I typically get about 60-80% germination on my seeds that I buy and even my own seeds that I grow. I will ocassionally get a 100% BUT THIS is very rare. I read about folks getting this kind of germination, but I just don't have that good of luck.

I hope the seeds that you did get will grow for you. I really think your plants will recover rapidally. I grow all of mine in pots, well the new ones anyway. You should see new growth on those plants in just a few days to a week. It would be best if you could put them somewhere they can get some good sunlight, but if not possible, they will survive.

GOod luck, Mona
