My one negative experience was a couple of years ago when I paid something like $75 for a SF, and when it arrived it was TOTALLY dried out, leaves and all, and I had written to him right after I won it and requested that he not send it for two weeks because I would be out of town. But he sent it anyway. Our son was coming over to water/feed cats while we were away, and he called me to let me know the plant had arrived. He said it was barely the size of a pencil and totally brown, not yellow, with about three crunchy dried leaves and absolutely no green showing anywhere. So I told him how to plant it in a 1 gal pot, and I was so mad that I never gave any feedback on that one transaction. I've also seen his seller name listed here once or twice as someone other people have had a good experience with, mostly with seeds, so I didn't want to leave negative feedback in case it was just a fluke, but I will never order anything from that person again. Live and learn!
And since then I've never received anything nearly that bad again from a seller -- in fact, I'm usually totally pleased/thrilled!
